Metal: Making Miniature Bowls

Ever want to try making your own bowls?  We will make miniature bowls out of copper, bronze and even in silver, using dapping punches and small mushroom stakes.   The bowls will be formed from 2” to 4” 20g. discs, on wooden dapping blocks and then hammered over stakes to make shallow to deep bowls for a variety of uses.   Bases will be made with sheet metal and wire.   Ear protection will be necessary for we will be doing much hammering.  If you are interested in making a sterling bowl, order a 2” or 3” or 4” 20g sterling or Argentium disc or buy enough silver sheet to make a bowl.
