Artist Statement
My ceramic work is handbuilt and inspired by nature, textile patterns, vintage American pottery and my passion for gardening. I often experiment with all kinds of surface design and play with shapes and forms in an ongoing effort to figure out the creative voice I have within. I love working with clay and appreciate the many lessons it teaches me along the way. You will often find me in my studio with Daisy, my dog, who enjoys keeping me company.
