Mother Brook, in collaboration with Galería Cubana, is pleased to invited you to the photography exhibition Faroleando – the idea of seeing and being seen.  Explore the world through the lens of native Cuban artists Sebastián Leal and Pablo Bordón as they wander the streets of Havana, New York, and Boston.

Sebastián Leal

Leal’s photographs, reflections playing with intense light and color, explor the world we see and allude to one that escapes the eye.  In Faroleando, Leal takes on the new territory of New York City and also pays homage to our fair city of Boston.

Pablo Bordón

Bordón explores the city using his skilled eye for patter, form, geometry, and symmetry.  In this exhibition, he presents nine abstract achritecural photographs on metal, each illustrate the contemporary landscape of Havana unkown to many Americans.
